Objective: To design a series of high-end consoles and displace the competitors.
Solution: It will be possible to compete only with the exceptional functionality and distinctive features.
In this series, I supervised design, engineering development, selection of fittings and components and a pilot production. The series has a simple concept: the width of the control panel is a multiple of the 19″ technical compartment. This allows construction of the console by combining a number of compartments that offer varying levels of computing power. Moreover, it is possible to change the compartments anytime during the product life cycle. The issue of convenience has been effectively addressed: the compartments are suspended on a power beam from the top down and fastened together. The beam serves the purpose of connecting the vertical supports to form a unified contour, while also functioning as a cable tray.

The compartments design is compound. The lids are closed with rubber dampers into latches Hafelle miniLatch. The rack slats are integrated into the supports.
The list of products:
- 19″ Light Technical Compartment, height 3U, depth 400 mm;
- 19″ Classic Technical Compartment, height 12U, depth 400 mm;
- 19″ Classic Technical Compartment, height 12U, depth 700 mm;
- 19″ Cable Tray Single Lid.
The tabletop plane is subject to the same approach of unification and variability:
- Single One-Plane Worktop with a monitor rail and cable entry;
- Worktop with low level;
- Worktop with superstructure for installation of monitors in two levels.
The information provided below illustrates the various non-linear layout options available for technical compartments within a single console.
As the beam and suspension attachment points are mirrored, it is possible to rotate custom deep technical compartments towards the operator, if required.
The under-the-table structure has a substantial thickness, not only to enhance its visual appeal, but also to accommodate the potential buckets.
The COSMO series consoles have reached the final debugging stage. Pilot prototypes were showcased twice at Russian exhibitions, garnering positive feedback from potential clients who appreciate its functionality and soft design. The COSMO series is now being actively integrated into nearby projects.
